10 Inspirational Lease A 2018 Acura Rdx – Acura is the luxury vehicle marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand has been launched in the United States and Canada in March 1986, advertising luxury, performance, and high performance vehicles. It was introduced into Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia at 2014 and Kuwait at 2015, and is also marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s strategy to introduce Acura into the Japanese national market (JDM) in 2008 was postponed, as a result of economic reasons, also afterwards withheld as a result of the 2008 financial crisis.
Acura holds the distinction of being the first Japanese automotive luxury brand. The production of Acura collaborated with the coming of a JDM Honda dealership sales channel, called Honda Clio, that sold luxury vehicles, linking previously established Honda Verno, followed closely by Honda Primo the following year. In its first few years of life, Acura was among the best-selling luxury marques in the US. Though sales were in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand undergone a revival in the early 2000s, because of extreme redesigns and the introductions of new models.
Since Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, but the company struggled a little. Some of its goods were duds, and it risked alienating loyal clients when it replaced both the Legend and Integra titles using alphanumeric designations. The business jumped onto the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with all the SLX. Sad to say, the SLX was only a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, along with its own quality didn’t match customers’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product scope. An all-new SUV known as the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly characteristics, including a third-row seat. The Integra was replaced with the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry sport sedan called the TSX was introduced then. A complete redesign of its most popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
