10 Best Of 2019 Acura Rdx Houston – Acura is the luxury automobile marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand was launched in the USA and Canada in March 1986, marketing luxury, functionality, and high-performance vehicles. It had been introduced to Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia in 2014 and Kuwait at 2015, and is also sold in Ukraine. Honda’s strategy to introduce Acura to the Japanese domestic economy (JDM) in 2008 was postponed, as a result of economic reasons, and afterwards withheld as a consequence of the 2008 fiscal crisis.
Acura retains the distinction of being the first Japanese automotive luxury brand. The production of Acura collaborated with the introduction of a JDM Honda dealership revenue channel, called Honda Clio, which offered luxury vehicles, linking formerly established Honda Verno, followed closely by Honda Primo the following year. In its first couple of years of existence, Acura was among the bestselling luxury marques in the US. Though sales were in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand experienced a revival in the early 2000s, because of drastic redesigns and the openings of new models.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, however, the business fought a bit. A number of its products were duds, and it risked alienating loyal clients when it replaced both the Legend and Integra titles with alphanumeric designations. The business jumped on the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with the SLX. Unfortunately, the SLX was only a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, along with its quality didn’t match customers’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revived its product scope. An all-new SUV known as the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly features, like a third-row seat. The Integra was substituted using the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry sport sedan known as the TSX was introduced after that. A complete redesign of its popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
