10 Best Of 2019 Acura Rdx Heads Up Display – Acura is the luxury vehicle marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand was launched in the United States and Canada in March 1986, advertising luxury, performance, and high-performance vehicles. It had been introduced to Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia in 2014 and Kuwait in 2015, and is also marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s strategy to present Acura into the Japanese national economy (JDM) in 2008 was delayed, because of economic reasons, also later withheld as a consequence of the 2008 financial catastrophe.
Acura holds the distinction of becoming the first Japanese automotive luxury brand. The creation of Acura coincided with the coming of a JDM Honda dealership revenue channel, called Honda Clio, which sold luxury vehicles, joining formerly established Honda Verno, followed closely by Honda Primo the next year. In its first few years of life, Acura was one of the bestselling luxury marques in the US. Though sales were in the mid-to-late 1990s, the new undergone a revival in the early 2000s, due to drastic redesigns and the openings of new models.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, however, the company struggled a bit. A number of its products were duds, and it risked alienating loyal customers when it replaced the Legend and Integra titles using alphanumeric designations. The company jumped onto the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with all the SLX. Alas, the SLX was a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, along with its own quality did not match clients’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product range. An all-new SUV called the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly features, including a third-row chair. The Integra was replaced with the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry sport sedan known as the TSX was introduced after that. A comprehensive redesign of its popular version, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
