10 New 2018 Honda Acura Nsx – Acura is the luxury car marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand was launched in the USA and Canada in March 1986, marketing luxury, functionality, and high performance vehicles. It was introduced into Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia in 2014 and Kuwait in 2015, and can also be sold in Ukraine. Honda’s plan to introduce Acura to the Japanese national market (JDM) at 2008 was delayed, due to economic reasons, and afterwards withheld as a consequence of the 2008 fiscal crisis.
Acura holds the distinction of becoming the very first Japanese automotive luxury brand. The production of Acura coincided with the coming of a JDM Honda dealership sales channel, known as Honda Clio, that marketed luxury vehicles, linking formerly established Honda Verno, followed by Honda Primo the following year. In its first couple of years of existence, Acura was among the best selling luxury marques in the usa. Though sales were down in the mid-to-late 1990s, the new experienced a revival in the early 2000s, because of drastic redesigns and the openings of new versions.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, but the business fought a bit. Some of its goods were duds, and it risked alienating loyal clients when it replaced both the Legend and Integra names with alphanumeric designations. The business jumped on the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with the SLX. Alas, the SLX was just a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, and its own quality did not match clients’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product variety. An all-new SUV called the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly features, such as a third-row seat. The Integra was substituted with the RSX sport coupe, and an all-new entry sport sedan called the TSX was introduced after that. A comprehensive redesign of its most popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
