10 New 2018 Acura Tlx Wheels – Acura is the luxury car marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand has been launched in the USA and Canada at March 1986, advertising luxury, functionality, and high-performance vehicles. It was introduced into Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia at 2014 and Kuwait at 2015, and is also marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s plan to present Acura into the Japanese national market (JDM) in 2008 was postponed, because of economic reasons, and later withheld as a consequence of the 2008 fiscal crisis.
Acura holds the distinction of being the first Japanese automotive luxury brandnew. The production of Acura collaborated with the debut of a JDM Honda dealership revenue channel, called Honda Clio, which marketed luxury vehicles, joining previously established Honda Verno, followed closely by Honda Primo the following year. In its first couple of years of existence, Acura was one of the bestselling luxury marques in the US. Even though sales were down in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand experienced a revival in the early 2000s, due to drastic redesigns and the openings of new versions.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, however, the company fought a bit. A number of its products were duds, and it risked alienating loyal customers when it replaced the Legend and Integra titles using alphanumeric designations. The company jumped onto the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with the SLX. Sad to say, the SLX was a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, and its own quality didn’t match clients’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product variety. An all-new SUV called the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly characteristics, such as a third-row seat. The Integra was replaced with the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry sport sedan called the TSX was released after that. A comprehensive redesign of its popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
