10 Best Of 2018 Acura Sedan Models – Acura is the luxury automobile marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand has been launched in the USA and Canada in March 1986, advertising luxury, functionality, and high-performance vehicles. It had been introduced into Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia in 2014 and Kuwait at 2015, and can also be marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s strategy to introduce Acura to the Japanese national market (JDM) in 2008 was delayed, because of economic reasons, and later withheld as a consequence of the 2008 fiscal catastrophe.
Acura holds the distinction of becoming the very first Japanese automotive luxury brand. The creation of Acura collaborated with the introduction of a JDM Honda dealership sales channel, known as Honda Clio, which offered luxury vehicles, linking formerly recognized Honda Verno, followed by Honda Primo the following calendar year. In its first couple of years of existence, Acura was one of the best selling luxury marques in the US. Even though sales were in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand undergone a revival in the early 2000s, as a result of drastic redesigns and the openings of new models.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, but the business struggled a bit. A number of its goods were duds, and it risked alienating loyal clients when it replaced the Legend and Integra names with alphanumeric designations. The business jumped to the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with the SLX. Sadly, the SLX was a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, and also its quality did not match clients’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product scope. An all-new SUV known as the MDX surfaced, wearing numerous family-friendly features, including a third-row chair. The Integra was replaced using the RSX sport coupe, and an all-new entry sport sedan called the TSX was introduced then. A comprehensive redesign of its most popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
