10 Fresh 2018 Acura Nsx – Acura is the luxury car marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand was launched in the USA and Canada at March 1986, marketing luxury, performance, and high performance vehicles. It had been introduced into Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia in 2014 and Kuwait in 2015, and can also be marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s strategy to introduce Acura into the Japanese domestic market (JDM) at 2008 was postponed, because of economic reasons, and afterwards withheld as a result of the 2008 fiscal catastrophe.
Acura holds the distinction of becoming the first Japanese automotive luxury brandnew. The production of Acura collaborated with the introduction of a JDM Honda dealership sales channel, called Honda Clio, which offered luxury vehicles, joining previously established Honda Verno, followed closely by Honda Primo the next year. In its first couple of years of existence, Acura was one of the best selling luxury marques in the US. Though sales were down in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand undergone a revival in the early 2000s, due to drastic redesigns and the openings of new models.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, but the company struggled a bit. Some of its goods were duds, and it risked alienating loyal customers when it replaced the Legend and Integra titles with alphanumeric designations. The company jumped to the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with all the SLX. However, the SLX was a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, and its own quality did not match clients’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product range. An all-new SUV called the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly features, such as a third-row seat. The Integra was substituted with the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry sport sedan known as the TSX was introduced after that. A complete redesign of its most popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
