10 Awesome 2018 Acura Integra – Acura is the luxury car marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand was launched in the USA and Canada in March 1986, marketing luxury, performance, and high performance vehicles. It had been introduced to Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia in 2014 and Kuwait in 2015, and is also marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s plan to introduce Acura to the Japanese national economy (JDM) in 2008 was postponed, because of economic reasons, and afterwards withheld as a result of the 2008 financial catastrophe.
Acura retains the distinction of becoming the very first Japanese automotive luxury brandnew. The production of Acura coincided with the introduction of a JDM Honda dealership revenue channel, known as Honda Clio, which sold luxury vehicles, linking previously recognized Honda Verno, followed by Honda Primo the subsequent calendar year. In its first couple of years of existence, Acura was among the best selling luxury marques in the US. Though sales were in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand experienced a revival in the early 2000s, due to drastic redesigns and the introductions of new versions.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, but the company struggled a little. Some of its products were duds, and it risked alienating loyal customers when it replaced both the Legend and Integra titles using alphanumeric designations. The company jumped onto the sexy luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with all the SLX. Sadly, the SLX was only a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, also its own quality didn’t match clients’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revamped its product variety. An all-new SUV known as the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly features, such as a third-row chair. The Integra was replaced with the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry-level sport sedan called the TSX was released after that. A comprehensive redesign of its popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
