10 Inspirational 2018 Acura Blue – Acura is the luxury vehicle marque of Japanese automaker Honda. The brand has been launched in the United States and Canada at March 1986, advertising luxury, functionality, and high-performance vehicles. It had been introduced to Hong Kong in 1991, Mexico in 2004, China in 2006, Russia at 2014 and Kuwait in 2015, and is also marketed in Ukraine. Honda’s plan to present Acura to the Japanese national economy (JDM) at 2008 was delayed, as a result of economic reasons, and later withheld as a consequence of the 2008 financial catastrophe.
Acura holds the distinction of being the very first Japanese automotive luxury brand. The production of Acura collaborated with the introduction of a JDM Honda dealership revenue channel, known as Honda Clio, which offered luxury vehicles, linking formerly recognized Honda Verno, followed by Honda Primo the next calendar year. In its first couple of years of life, Acura was one of the best selling luxury marques in the US. Though sales were down in the mid-to-late 1990s, the brand experienced a revival in the early 2000s, due to extreme redesigns and the openings of new versions.
As Acura’s product line grew in the 1990s, however, the company struggled a bit. A number of its goods were duds, and it risked alienating loyal customers when it replaced the Legend and Integra titles using alphanumeric designations. The company jumped onto the hot luxury SUV bandwagon in the mid-’90s with the SLX. However, the SLX was just a rebadged version of an Isuzu SUV, also its own quality didn’t match customers’ expectations.
For the new millennium, Acura revived its product variety. An all-new SUV known as the MDX debuted, sporting numerous family-friendly features, such as a third-row seat. The Integra was replaced with the RSX sport coupe, along with an all-new entry-level sport sedan called the TSX was introduced then. A complete redesign of its most popular model, the midsize TL sedan, followed, as did a redesign of its flagship RL luxury sedan.
